PSHE

At Park Hall, we intend for our learenrs to develop the skills necessary in order for them to become resilient, confident and responsible members of society. Personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education is an embedded part of our broad curriculum and school ethos where we ensure that our values of honesty, enjoyment, achievement, respect and teamwork are at the HEART of everything we do. Learners will learn the value of a growth mindset and how this can positively impact on confidence, self-esteem and decision making. Learners will recognise that their future possibilities are endless and filled with opportunities -'The power of yet'. Learners are equipped with the language and vocabulary needed to be able to express and communicate their own thoughts and feelings and those of others.

At Park Hall Academy our values lie at the HEART of everything we do. These were developed by all members of our Park Hall family and all children are fully aware of these and their importance within our academy. Our values, Honesty, Enjoyment, Achievement, Respect and Teamwork are essential to the success of our happy and friendly school. We believe that our values impact enormously on the Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development of our learners.
Our clear Expectations  are also fundamental in ensuring that all children are able to make a positive contribution to our academy.

We recognise that the personal development of pupils, spiritually, morally socially and culturally plays a significant part not only in their ability to learn and achieve but in their ability to relate fully to and access the world in which we live. We are therefore passionate about ensuring our learners are given opportunities in every area of the curriculum to develop and grow as young people who are determined to make a positive difference to the lives of others and the world around them.
We provide all learners with opportunities to explore and develop their own values and beliefs, spiritual awareness, high standards of personal behaviour, a positive caring attitude towards other people, an understanding of their social and cultural traditions and an appreciation of the diversity and richness of other cultures.
As a result, our learners develop as capable, caring and confident children whom we are proud to call members of our Park Hall family.
